Entity: AVS Test Series ("We," "Us," "Our")

By accessing, signing up, or purchasing any test series from AVS Test Series (via our website, Supabase-powered platform, or associated links), you ("User," "Student") agree to be bound by these legally binding terms.

PART I: TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Nature of Service

AVS Test Series is an online digital assessment platform providing mock tests and practice papers for UGC NET Political Science and CUET PG.

• Not a Coaching Institute: We do not offer classroom teaching, live lectures, or tutorship. We provide a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access our database of practice questions for self-assessment.
• Digital Goods: The service is classified as "Digital Content" under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules. Once access is granted, the "service" is deemed fully delivered.

2. Account Activation & Payment (Manual Verification Policy)

• Manual Verification: We verify payments (UPI Screenshots) manually. While we strive for immediate access, account activation may take up to 24–48 hours from the time of payment proof submission.
• Holidays: Responses may be delayed on public holidays or weekends.
• User Responsibility: You must provide a valid email and accurate payment proof. We are not responsible for delays caused by unclear screenshots or incorrect transaction IDs.

3. No Refund Policy

Strictly No Refunds.

• Due to the nature of digital goods (which can be consumed/viewed immediately upon access), all sales are final.
• Unlike physical coaching centers, we do not offer "pro-rata" refunds if you stop using the service mid-session.
• Exception: A refund will only be processed if you have paid but we failed to activate your account within 72 hours of receiving valid proof, due to our own technical fault.

4. Account Usage & Anti-Piracy (Strict Ban Policy)

• Single User License: Your account is for your personal use only.
• Prohibited Acts: Sharing login credentials with friends or groups; scraping, copying, screenshotting, or distributing our questions/explanations.
• Termination: We use technical and behavioral indicators to detect unauthorized sharing or suspicious activity. If detected, your account will be permanently banned without notice and without refund.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian Law:

• Liability Cap: AVS Test Series is an association of individuals. You agree that our total liability to you for any claim (legal, financial, or technical) is strictly limited to the amount you paid for the service (e.g., ₹49 or the specific course fee).
• No Personal Liability: You waive any right to seek damages from the founders/owners personally beyond the fee paid.
• Service Interruptions: We utilize third-party services (Supabase, Cloudflare, Google). We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or server outages caused by these providers during your exams.

PART II: PRIVACY POLICY

We respect your privacy and collect data only for lawful purposes as defined under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Data We Collect

• Personal Data: Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Gender.
• Transaction Data: UPI Payment Screenshots (Transaction ID).
• Performance Data: Your mock test scores and progress logs.

2. Purpose of Collection

We collect this data solely to:

• Verify your payment and grant access.
• Generate your test results and analytics.
• Profile Customization: Gender data is collected strictly to display the correct default avatar/logo on your dashboard. Services are intended for users aged 18 years and above.
• Communicate important exam updates or technical alerts.

3. Data Retention Policy

• Duration: We retain your personal and performance data for the duration of the relevant exam cycle plus 6 months (for audit and dispute resolution).
• Deletion: After this period, or upon your request, data is permanently deleted from our live database.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your data. However, your data is processed through trusted third-party tech providers:

• Database: Supabase (Data storage).
• Hosting: Cloudflare (Site security). GitHub.
• Identity: Google (Login authentication, if applicable).

5. Your Rights

You may contact us to:

• Correct inaccurate personal details.
• Request deletion of your account (Right to Erasure). Note: Deletion implies immediate termination of paid services.
• Response Time: We will endeavor to respond to such requests within 30 days.

PART III: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & DISCLAIMERS

1. Copyright Notice

• Original Assets: The Source Code, Website UI, Database Structure, Answer Explanations, and Curated Test Series arrangements are the intellectual property of AVS Test Series. Unauthorized reproduction is a violation of the Copyright Act, 1957.
• Third-Party Content: Previous Year Questions (PYQs) included in our tests are the property of their respective conducting bodies (NTA/UGC). We use them under Fair Dealing for educational purposes (Section 52 of the Copyright Act) to provide analysis and practice. We do not claim ownership of the raw question text.

2. Educational Disclaimer

• Not Affiliated with Government: AVS Test Series is a private entity and is NOT affiliated with the National Testing Agency (NTA), University Grants Commission (UGC), or any government body.
• No Guarantee: While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that questions in the real exam will match ours, nor do we guarantee any specific exam result/rank.

PART IV: GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

• Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, the Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

PART V: GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

In accordance with the IT Rules, 2021 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, you may contact our Grievance Officer for any concerns regarding content or data.
